There is nothing quite like being on a college campus – so exciting and so much to take in but undoubtedly one of the best parts is finding a local eatery and getting a vibe for College Life outside of campus.  And after a lot of walking, who isn’t ready for a bite to eat.  Check out the recommendations below from Students, Parents, and Alumni!

Where To Eat?

~ Bar Food: Burgers, Sandwiches, Apps, and Salads ~

The Esso Club – Old Greenville Hwy 1 – Clemson’s oldest place to drink beer is a “not to be missed” spot for a little Clemson history and good eats.
Loose Change – College Avenue
BGR The Burger Joint – College Avenue
TD’s – College Avenue
Macs – Pendleton Rd. About a 7-minute drive from campus, but is a “must visit” recommendation from students and alumni.

~ BBQ ~

The Smokin’ Pig – a 12-minute drive from Campus – Open Thursday, Friday, Saturday

~ Italian ~

Brioso – College Avenue

~ Steak & Seafood ~

Calhoun Corners – Clemson Street
Pixie & Bills – Tiger Blvd.

’55 Exchange – Home of Clemson ice cream.  Check out this student-run eatery located at Hendrix Student Center.

Spill The Beans – Clemson Avenue – Lots of recommendations for this ice cream spot and if you would like something a little warmer, they have coffee as well!
